Blonde is where Halle really shines. She does everything from soft, lived-in balayage that grows out beautifully to bright blonde foil highlights for the guest who wants to be noticeably lighter. She is especially good at creating blonde that looks blended, where you can’t see where the color starts or stops.

One of the things that makes Halle’s balayage different is how precise her placement is. She can hand paint right up to the root, which gives you a brighter hairline without foil. If you want the look of foils, she can often get you there by painting. It still looks sun-kissed and natural, but you get real brightness around your face.

She is just as comfortable with advanced foil placement and AirTouch balayage when those are the better techniques for the result you want. Halle doesn’t believe every blonde needs the same technique. Sometimes it’s balayage, sometimes it’s foils, and sometimes the best blonde comes from using both.

She also blends gray into blonde hair and is L’Oréal Professionnel certified in Balayage Gray Blending. In addition to blonde, Halle loves painting dimensional brunettes and works with reds and modern gray coverage.

She looks at your natural color, your hair history, how much maintenance you want and what your color is going to look like eight weeks later. That’s a big part of creating blonde that stays believable and grows out well.

Haircutting

Halle also cuts, and she loves a razor. Razor cutting gives her the ability to create soft, textured ends and movement, while her French haircutting training gives her the foundation for polished bobs, beautiful layers and shapes that grow out well.

Because Halle does both color and cutting, she marries them together. She knows where the brightness will fall before she cuts, and she knows how the cut will change the color, so one never undoes the other.
